identify hazards that can reasonably be foreseen and
to ensure that appropriate protective and preventive
measures are implemented;

recognise all special health and safety requirements
and procedures required by the Employer or embodied
in the Conditions of Contract and specification applying
to this contract;
-
comply with the health and safety laws which are applicable;
-
comply with this Health & Safety Policy statement
of our Company and make this available to all subcontractors;
-
make available, issue and use appropriate personal protective
equipment to our own employees and ensure the proper
provision by subcontractors to their own employees;
-
not allow alcohol to be consumed on site or permit any
person under the influence of alcohol / drugs to work
on site;
-
comply with the ‘COSHH’ Regulations 2002 and require
subcontractors using hazardous substances to have properly
assessed the health risks and to have introduced the
appropriate control measures;
-
require of subcontractors to have also prepared assessments
demanded by virtue of regulation 3 of the Management
of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999;
-
comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
and other Codes of Practice to ensure electrical safety
in work activities;
-
Satisfy All Other Legislative or legal requirements
as set out in the FT_Interface
-
provide first aid facilities appropriate to the size
of workforce and nature of the work and keep an accident
book and other registers;
-
appoint a 'responsible person' who will report any notifiable
injuries / ‘dangerous occurrences’ to the Health and
Safety Executive (HSE), in this case Mr Roger Marsh.
-
provide adequate welfare facilities;
-
to provide a means for employees to raise health and
safety grievances and for these to be dealt with as
speedily as possible.

Continually improve the Health & Safety Management
System in accordance with OHSAS 18001, and review all
Health & Safety Objectives, alongside this policy,
on an annual basis.
