Issue 03 - How to apply Canusa Heat Shrink sleeves

1. Clean the joint, abrade coating, ST3 minimum surface preparation (depends on sleeve used). Preheat pipe to correct temperature.
2. Wrap sleeve around the pipe joint.

3. Ensure overlap area is fully down.

4. Make sure closure strip is properly fused.
5. Heat from the middle outwards using broad sweeps of the flame.
6. Check edges of sleeve to ensure mastic “wetting out”.
7. Visual inspection of the sleeve.
