For the past 18 months, Frazer & Tabberer
have been rigorously reviewing all processes within the
organisation. The result of this has been the creation of
an online management system that satisfies the requirements
of not only ISO 9001:2000, but also ISO 14001:2004, and
OHSAS 18001.
The transition has been a very exciting
time for all at Frazer & Tabberer, and the results have
spoken for themselves. Certification to all three standards
during a single certification process.
The system has been designed and implement
by Rob Graham of QEM
Service Ltd, and uses the latest online search engine
technology, alonside a simple to use interface. All required
management documents and forms, including risk assessments,
method statements and procedures are available, 24hrs a
day via a password protected website. This ensures that
current work practices are continually reviewed and monitored
for suitability.
We have also found that this system removes
a great deal of the "intimidation" associated
with the usual paperwork in such systems. So far it has
proven to be a valuable tool not only on site, but in the
office.
